EWING, NJ … The School of Business at The College of New Jersey has created a new minor for students who like to explore fundamental questions about the impact of business on people’s lives, communities and the government.
The minor in Business and Society incorporates coursework that draws from a range of offerings in the social sciences, humanities and business at the College that examine the larger societal context of business.
“The new minor will allow students to take advantage of the extraordinary range of courses across the TCNJ campus to consider the societal impact of business,”said John McCarty, chair of the Department of Management, Marketing and Interdisciplinary Business.
The minor in Business and Society is particularly well suited for students who are majoring in areas such as political science, history, and sociology.
