EWING, NJ…The College of New Jersey will hold its second-annual Women’s Leadership Summit on Tuesday, October 23 on campus.
This year’s program will feature distinguished speakers from business, science, technology, entrepreneurship and non-profit organizations. The conference theme, “Strategies for Success,” will feature a gold-medal lineup of key thought leaders who will share their experiences about how they understood and took advantage of opportunities to alter the business environment. Attendees stand to gain inspiration and practical knowledge from these distinguished speakers, who represent companies such as WithumSmith+Brown, Johnson & Johnson, and LinkedIn.
The keynote address, “Changing the World’s Conversation,” will be given by Katie Orenstein, Founder & Director @ The OpEd Project, whose mission is to increase the range of voices and quality of ideas heard in the world. For more information, visit http://www.theopedproject.org/
Tammy Dieterich, assistant dean of the School of Business at the College, expressed the community’s excitement to be hosting this event for the second time. Dieterich also spoke of the goals of the event: “Regardless of where you are in your career, we hold certain skills to be universal and continuously in a stage of growth—improving financially, evolving interpersonally and positioning strategically. Like last year, this event gathers regional businesswomen—including TCNJ alumnae—from a wide array of backgrounds, and offers practical and inspiring support to take women to the next level.”
