The Orientation Committee would like to thank all who helped plan and/or participated in Winter Orientation on January 15th. Welcoming our new students to campus is truly a campus wide effort. Program and Committee
The purpose of the Orientation program is to support a positive transition to The College of New Jersey by providing the opportunity for our newest community members to understand and embrace the values and mission of a TCNJ education. Programs and activities focus on the college’s social and developmental opportunities, academic programs, and the achievement of timely and critical enrollment tasks. Orientation provides the opportunity for building meaningful connections with new and continuing students, faculty, and staff in order to reaffirm each student’s decision to attend TCNJ.
As a campus we welcome approximately 1,700 freshmen and transfers through our Orientation program. To ensure that such a large campus-wide program meets its purpose and runs effectively, the Orientation Committee is comprised of faculty, staff, and students.
