• ELECTRIC: Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19, 2013.
All buildings and facilities are affected Saturday, May 18 from 6 AM to 6 PM (NOTE: Green Hall data center and Campus Police will remain powered via generator). On Sunday, May 19, from 6 AM to 6 PM, only Packer Hall, Travers/Wolfe Halls, Centennial Hall, EAB, Eickhoff, Norsworthy, and the Brower Student Center will be affected. Should anyone have any questions, please call Lori Winyard, Facilities and Administrative Services, at 609-771-2353. As always, we will strive to complete work earlier, if possible, on both shutdown days.
• STEAM: Friday, May 17 at 5 PM through Friday, May 31 at 6 PM.
This is an extended shutdown to advance the campus steam infrastructure replacement project, and will affect domestic hot water campus wide, with the exception of all Townhouses, Phelps and Hausdoerffer, and Loser Hall. Should anyone have any questions, please call Lori Winyard, Facilities and Administrative Services, at 609-771-2353.
• INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY:
The Green Hall IT data center will remain available during the campus electrical shutdowns. This means that email, SOCS, PAWS, library system, etc. will remain available via the Internet. The network will not be available in those buildings without electricity. Campus phones will continue to function even in buildings without electricity. Should anyone have any questions, please call Shawn Sivy, Networking and Technical Services, at 609-771-3474. Thank you for your patience as we maintain and improve our systems.
