TCNJ featured in The Princeton Review’s “The Best 378 Colleges” 2014 edition

The College of New Jersey was recently named one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduate education in the Princeton Review’s annual guide. Profiling about 15 percent of America’s 2,500 four-year colleges, The Princeton Review’s college guidebook includes detailed profiles and ratings of each college, compiled from 126,000 student surveys and extensive reviews of each college’s academics, affordability, and extracurricular activities. 378

The Princeton Review praises TCNJ for its dedication to “education and to the pursuit of passions, all at an affordable price.” It quotes extensively from current TCNJ students who surveyed for the book.  Among their comments: “The College of New Jersey is a community unlike any I have ever been a part of; everyone is proud to be a part of it and to contribute to the TCNJ culture.” Another student says, “The campus is gorgeous, the students are friendly, and you can’t beat the price!”

In a “Survey Says” sidebar, The Princeton Review compiled survey answers collected from TCNJ students. Students agreed that TCNJ has a “great library,” “students are friendly,” “lab facilities are great,” “students are happy,” and that the “school is well run.”
