The College of New Jersey has been named to Kiplinger’s 30 Best College Values in the Mid-Atlantic for the 2013-2014 academic year. Highlighting 30 four-year schools that exhibit superior academics and economic value, the list cites the top 10 schools of the Mid-Atlantic for the public, private, and liberal arts categories. TCNJ placed #6 on the list of public schools and is one of only two New Jersey schools included on the list (Rutgers University #8).
Nationally, TCNJ ranks #34 on Kiplinger’s Best Value Public Colleges, placing the highest among New Jersey institutions included on the list (Rutgers-New Brunswick #47 and Ramapo #66). TCNJ also ranks #8 on Kiplinger’s Best Values in Public Colleges for Out-of-State Students list, which commends the College’s strong freshman-retention rate (95 percent) and its low student-faculty ratio (13:1).
