Mayo Business Plan Competition final showdown, April 5

On April 5, three teams of TCNJ student entrepreneurs will square off in the finals of the Mayo Business Plan Competition. Their goal? To convince a panel of judges that their idea is the Next Big Thing.

And the stakes are high, with a prize pot of $50,000 to be divvied up among the teams.

“The Mayo Business Plan Competition has had a campuswide impact, attracting students from diverse disciplines,” said William Keep, dean of the TCNJ School of Business. “The size of the prize is an incentive and adds to excitement. We’re grateful to Professor Herbert B. Mayo for establishing and supporting the Mayo Business Plan Competition and Eric Szabo ’97 for his generous support.”

The competition, which is open to the public, will be held Wednesday, April 5 at 5 p.m. in the Education Building, room 212.
