TCNJ Athletics was named the recipient of the Division III Collegiate Athletic Administrators of New Jersey Cup for the 2016–17 academic year. The award, which is voted upon by the 43 member institutions of the CAANJ, recognizes overall athletic excellence. It is the 13th time in the past 20 years that the college has earned this honor.
Twelve of TCNJ’s 2016–17 teams placed in NCAA championship competition, highlighted by the women’s lacrosse team’s national runner-up finish. In total, TCNJ’s athletics program produced 17 All-Americans and garnered 153 NJAC all-conference honors and 148 NJAC all-academic team selections.
